There was an article in the a recent copy of the Leisure Painter and the Artist on painting a landscape using wet-on-dry and wet-in-wet techniques. I had a go at both paintings, trying to follow the instructions as I went.

Not really happy with either painting.

Not happy with the greens. Need to focus on mixing more realistic greens.
